The village of Séez is situated at the heart of numerous large ski areas and offers you the possibility to discover infamous resorts during your stay.
La Rosière – International Resort of San Bernardo
Séez is connected to “La Rosière Espace international San Bernardo” via the Ecudets chairlift, situated 6 km from the centre of the village and served by a free shuttle bus from Bourg-Saint-Maurice via Séez . The San Bernardo area is a French-Italian ski resort with more than 155 km of slopes accessible to beginner and advanced skiers alike.
The resort of Sainte-Foy Tarentaise is located 15 km from Séez, and was the last resort to be created in the Tarentaise region. Sainte-Foy Tarentaise has 32 km of slopes, and traditional architecture.
Tignes / Val d’Isère
Tignes / Val d’Isère is 28 km from Séez and is one of the most infamous ski resorts in the world, notably for having hosted the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games and the World Ski Championships in 2009. The 300 km of slopes are open to all winter sports enthusiasts.
Les Arcs / Paradiski
To visit Les Arcs / Paradiski, the funicular located 3 km from Séez allows you to access to the les Arcs 1600 resort which opens up to 200 km of slopes.
The village has a magnificent loop of 18km of cross country skiing : a free route (unsecured) for all levels, that winds down to a large plateau at the bottom of the village. Extension of the route to the towns of Villaroger, Bourg St Maurice and Landry
The Nordic skiing course “l’Hermine” begins from the Ecudets chairlift until the resort of la Rosière. Ascent : 740 m, signposted at every 100m of elevation. 2 other courses are signposted in la Rosière. The ski touring routes are exclusively reserved for uphill climbing, the descent is through the ski slopes.
