BAROQUE CHURCH SAINT-PIERRE

Located in the center of Seez, the church of St. Peter (XII century) was restored from the beginning of 1680 by the prior Jean Duclos. It represents baroque art, and new art from the Renaissance which expresses the Catholic reform in the Savoie region in the 17th century.
It is registered in the circuit of “Paths of the Baroque”. Discover the treasure of the church: pieces of sacred goldsmithery offered to the parish of Séez in the late seventeenth century and early eighteenth century. Most objects are classified as historical monuments.
